Rachel and Elliot | Summer Church Wedding | Nashville, Tennessee

It was the perfect summer day for a beautiful wedding in Nashville.

Rachel and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. Our shared loves went from playing imaginary games of dogs and horses to secret clubs to our passion for photography. Our families were also similar - we were both home schooled and from large families who were serious about growing with a love for God. She was always my constant friend who I knew would be there for me so I was honored when she asked me to be her wedding photographer.

After they were engaged, we met up so I could finally meet Elliot - Rachel's soon to be husband. I immediately knew they were one of those perfect matches. Throughout their wedding day, that connection shone through even more.

Rachel and Elliot chose to have a wedding that was perfectly them - no frills or anything unnecessary, just them and their closest friends and family celebrating together. Everything was kept simple, but was beautiful. Why choose to have too many distractions? I feel like so many times couples feel the need to go over the top for their wedding (Jesse and I were no exception here!) when the thing that matters is their love for each other - Rachel and Elliot's wedding demonstrated that pure love and beauty.

Rachel and Elliot, thank you for trusting me to capture your beautiful day! I had a blast with you two, and loved every minute of it. I can’t wait for you to see all the photos, but for now, here’s just a few of my many favorites!

And how could you not love this little man getting a high five from his mom as she walks down the aisle?!

I couldn't miss the chance to grab a snapshot of me with my best friend and her new husband.

Are these centerpieces the sweetest? They doubled as gifts for all of Rachel and Elliot's guests.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Huck! May God bless your marriage together.
