Ya'll, I am so excited to share Savannah and Angel's engagement session with you today!

I’ve been looking forward to Savannah and Angel's engagement session for what feels like forever! Savannah is my best friend's younger cousin (who she also claims is like a sister). I spent many nights over at her home chatting and watching movies. I even tagged along on their family vacation to the beach one summer (I'll have to tell you the story of the giant meatball later!). We also get to see each other every Sunday and Wednesday at church.

This engagement session was a first for me - both Savannah and Angel were Kelsie Mae Photography seniors (Classes of 2016 and 2017).

And I have a confession, ever since I found out they were in a serious relationship, I would often see portraits ideas and think, "This would look adorable for Savannah and Angel's future engagement portraits..." You can imagine how thrilled I was when they really did get engaged and then said that they would love for me to be their photographer in their next milestone.

THEIR LAUGHTER AND LOVE FOR EACH OTHER WAS CONTAGIOUS

Savannah and Angel wanted a location that had a shared meaning for them for their portraits. They decided that one place that they both LOVED and that carried a lot of meaning for them was our church campground. Not only is it filled with beautiful trees, it had a creek flowing gracefully around the border. We've also been getting quite a bit of rain which have made these sweet wildflowers pop up everywhere. They were just BEGGING to be a part of Savannah and Angel's engagement session.

Even with the 90 degree and crazy humid weather, they continuously were laughing and were up for anything throughout their session. Their laughter and love for each other was contagious which shows clearly through their portraits.

Savannah and Angel, Jesse and I are so excited for your wedding day! Thank you for trusting and choosing me to capture this next big moment in your life! Ya'll were amazing and I had such a difficult time picking only a few for this post! I cannot wait to do this all again on your big day! It’s going to be here so soon!
