The Joyners | Sunflower Family Session | Cake Smash
Yet another one of my Kelsie Mae Photography babies is one!
I began capturing family pictures for the Joyner family when their first sweet little girl Neva was born. I loved working with them and so you can imagine how excited I was when I learned Amy was going to have another little girl and wanted me to capture her first year as well. Since then, their sessions are always a highlight every few months as we capture the next milestone.
They had sunflowers for their wedding, so it was only fitting to have family portraits in a field of sunflowers.
At Myla's previous session, Amy asked me if we could find a way to get the last set of portraits in a sunflower field since it would be the perfect timing for them to be in bloom. They had used sunflowers in their wedding so it was only fitting to get a few portraits in a field of sunflowers. After a few calls, the owner at Sleeping Bear Lodge and Farms in Greenbrier, TN happily agreed to let us spend the afternoon capturing priceless moments in his stunning sunflower field.
Of course, for the adorable one year old, we HAD to end the session with a super yummy cake smash! Happy Birthday Myla!!!
