Photographing children is always so different from photographing adults. Kids are meant to run, play, explore, and laugh. I am always so thankful when I am able to capture a young family outside where the kids can be themselves.

Ella and Jake were no exception to the adorable kids I have had the pleasure to photograph. From the moment their car door opened, they began asking me all about my camera and explaining some important facts about themselves. They were so excited to have a photo with each other and with their mom, Jennifer. Ella and Jake even gave me a few pose suggestions, which were perfect, of course!

"Can you get a photo of us like this?!"

They would ask, "Can you get a picture of us like this?" while demonstrating. I could tell this brother-sister duo had a strong and sweet connection! I also enjoyed getting to know Jennifer during the session. She is one amazing and beautiful mom rocking at what is the most important thing, loving her two beautiful children.
