Elizabeth West | Master's Degree Celebration Photoshoot | White House, TN

When I was 16 I got my first non photography job at a little tea room / catering business in the town where I lived. I always loved that job...especially all the delicious food we made (they made the best brownies EVER!).

Elizabeth was the daughter of one of the ladies I worked for and I always looked forward to the days when we both worked, whether it was baking or cleaning. It had been forever since we had talked, so I was excited for the opportunity to catch up with her when she asked about a portrait session a few months ago. She has been working hard to get her her master's degree from UWF and wanted to commemorate this step in her life. Having a husband currently working on getting his master's as well, I have grown a new appreciate and admiration for those going through the process! It is no joke!

Needless to say, we had fun catching up and taking pictures with just a few of her stacks of books she has used in her program, the fall colors, her dog Sally, and her two best friends who came along. The 39 degree weather might have made us shiver a bid, but her dog Sally was having the best day of her life running around and racing us to each new spot!

Elizabeth, congratulations on your accomplishment! Thank you for trusting me completely, and thank you for being such a joy to be around! I had so much fun with you, Sally, and your friends. I hope you enjoy the photos and are able to get some much deserved R&R after you graduate next month!
