Kendal & Sorrell | Gorgeous Lake Wedding | Reelfoot Lake State Park

So many people dream of marrying their best friend, for Kendal and Sorrell this dream came true!

Kendal and Sorrell met very similar to how Jesse and I met - through 4-H. Their friendship blossomed through all of the fun trips and time spend in the performing arts troop. We were thrilled when we suspected their friendship might lead to more and that we might get another sister.

Kendal and Sorrell's wedding day was a dream. From the details, to the emotion, to the setting, and the joy that was felt by all, it couldn’t have been more amazing. I even feel like the lake was gleaming a little extra special... maybe it was my teary eyes as I watched my baby brother pledge his life to his love.

Everything was so perfect. As I was thinking about this blog post, I was having a hard time wrapping my mind around how I could possibly put my feelings into words. I just can’t find a way to do this day justice in a few paragraphs. However these are some of the sweetest moments that we can't forget.

  • Watching how everyone was there for Kendal and Sorrell and helping all the way. We all stayed in two cabins the night before and after, so all the time together was sweet.

  • Sorrell and her father had the sweetest daddy daughter first look.

  • The look on Kendal's face as Sorrell walked down the aisle.

  • Their sweet vows that they wrote themselves that had all our hearts melting.

  • The perfect location and weather that had my photographer heart so happy.

  • How many people's talents were shown throughout their wedding day from the decorations to the food to the music. Kendal made the alter and Sorrel filled it with flowers. Our grandmother handmade Joanna's flower girl dress and the ring holder. The food was made by so many talented people.

  • Watching Joanna do such a great job as a flower girl. I was one proud mama. Plus seeing her dance at the reception had everyone entertained.

  • Watching Momma and Kendal dance made me tear up. She loves her not-so-little-anymore boy.

  • How much fun everyone had dancing at the reception...you could definitely see the 4-H dance influence.

Kendal and Sorrell, I love you so much. Your wedding day was more amazing than I could have imagined, and it was an HONOR to serve you and love you as your photographer and sister! We have such an amazing lifetime of memories ahead of us!!!!!
