Michaela & Garrett | Nature Engagement Session | Fairview, TN

These two! Just imagine how exciting it is to see someone you love for the first time in awhile. Michaela and Garrett hadn't seen each other in several weeks, so their excitement was bubbling over into their session the entire time! They are seriously one of the sweetest couples and I can hardly wait to photograph their wedding next year.

When I got the email about the location for their session, I was so excited. It was Bowie Nature Park which was basically in the backyard of the house I lived in until I was six. It was fun to be back! The park is filled with beautiful trees, a lake, and wildlife.

During the middle of their session, we hear a rustle behind us. When we look, there was a deer walking by! A few seconds later, a baby comes out, then another, then another! It was such a special moment and (after snapping a few photos), we took a moment and just soaked in the moment.

Michaela and Garrett, oh my! I had the best time at your engagement session and my stomach was sore from laughing so much! You two are as beautiful on the outside as you are kind on the inside. I hope you love seeing yourselves and your love through my lens as much as I loved photographing it. I can’t wait for your wedding next year!
